Sparco SJ Pro K-3 Rib Protector Vest

• Multi-zone protection — 12mm rib padding, 6mm shoulder/collarbone padding, and 4mm back protection cover the three highest-impact zones in karting
• Jacket-style fit — wears like an athletic layer, not a hard shell; full-length zip for quick on/off at the grid
• Vibration absorption — foam padding dampens chassis vibration over long sessions to reduce fatigue and keep you sharper at the wheel
• Breathable, anti-bacterial fabric — moisture-wicking construction fights sweat and odor buildup during high-intensity racing
• Rear stretch panel — accommodates the tucked, forward-leaning kart seating position without restricting movement or fit
• Low-profile back padding — 4mm rear protection that doesn't alter or compromise your seating position in the kart
• Youth and adult sizing available — sizes from 120 through XL for juniors and seniors alike

Most karters know they should be wearing a rib protector. Fewer actually do — because the traditional hard-shell vest is bulky, stiff, and fights you every time you try to get low in the seat. Sparco designed the SJ Pro K-3 to eliminate every one of those excuses.
Built in a jacket-style form factor, the SJ Pro K-3 wraps protection around three of the most vulnerable areas in karting: the ribs, back, and shoulders. Twelve millimeters of vibration- and shock-absorbing foam at the ribs handles the constant chassis feedback and lateral impacts that make long race days brutal on your body. A low-profile 4mm back panel keeps your seating position natural and uncompromised, while 6mm shoulder padding extends into the collarbone zone — coverage that traditional vests rarely offer.
The outer shell uses a breathable, anti-bacterial fabric that actively works against sweat buildup, keeping you more comfortable and focused from practice to the final. A rear stretch panel accommodates the bent, tucked position of an aggressive kart seating position without pulling or binding. The full-length zip closure makes suiting up and stripping off between sessions fast and hassle-free.
Available in youth and adult sizing across two colorways, the SJ Pro K-3 is the kind of gear you'll actually remember to put on — because it doesn't feel like a chore.
