• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

An aftermarket seat can transform how a 2008-2016 Scion / Toyota iQ feels from behind the wheel, whether for autocross, track days or simply better support on long drives. The key is a mount that fits the car's floor exactly and doesn't flex.

Sparco 600 Series bases are vehicle-specific, bolt to the factory floor mounts and provide a flat, stable platform for an aftermarket seat. It's a 100% bolt-in installation, and it's easy to reverse if the car ever goes back to stock.

It's built from 3/16" steel for stiffness and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. The Sparco top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. There's also a wide platform for direct side-mount installation (drilling required), which drops the seat as low as possible in a race car.

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB246L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
