• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Whether you're adding a supportive seat for daily driving, an HPDE build or a comfort upgrade, the 2008-2016 Scion / Toyota iQ needs a proper mount to carry it. The factory seat tracks won't accept an aftermarket seat, and universal plates rarely sit flat on the floor.

Sparco 600 Series seat bases pick up the factory seat mounts on the vehicle's floor and give your seat a flat, rigid mounting surface. Each base is vehicle-specific and a 100% bolt-in installation, so there's no cutting, welding or drilling into the floor.

The base is made from 3/16" steel for a strong, flex-free mount and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. Its Sparco-branded top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. A wide steel platform also leaves room to mount side mounts directly to the base when you want the lowest possible seat position (drilling required).

This is the driver/left base, sold individually. The passenger side is 600SB246R. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
