This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

An aftermarket seat can transform how a 2000-2007 Mercedes C-Class Sedan feels from behind the wheel, whether for autocross, track days or simply better support on long drives. The key is a mount that fits the car's floor exactly and doesn't flex.

Sparco 600 Series seat bases pick up the factory seat mounts on the vehicle's floor and give your seat a flat, rigid mounting surface. Each base is vehicle-specific and a 100% bolt-in installation, so there's no cutting, welding or drilling into the floor.

It's built from 3/16" steel for stiffness and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. The Sparco top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. There's also a wide platform for direct side-mount installation (drilling required), which drops the seat as low as possible in a race car.

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB157L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
