• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Owners who take a 2015+ Audi R8 to the track quickly find the limit of the factory seat's support. Moving to a fixed-back bucket makes the car easier to drive at pace, but the cockpit is tight and the floor isn't flat, so the mounting solution has to be right the first time.

Every Sparco 600 Series base is built for a specific vehicle and bolts straight to the factory seat mounting points. It turns an uneven factory floor into a flat, solid platform for your seat, and the install is fully bolt-in.

It's built from 3/16" steel for stiffness and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. The Sparco top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. There's also a wide platform for direct side-mount installation (drilling required), which drops the seat as low as possible in a race car.

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB310L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
