The Sabelt UI-101 rethinks where a balaclava's seams should go. Instead of the usual flat-sewn seam running down the center of the forehead — a common source of pressure and irritation under a tight-fitting helmet — Sabelt's exclusive design shifts the seams to the sides of the head, keeping the surface against your forehead uninterrupted.

It's built from a single layer of soft, stretchable knit fabric blended with fire-retardant fibers, giving it a lightweight, barely-there feel rather than the bulk of a heavier multi-layer balaclava. The front bib is double-layered and cut extra-long specifically so it tucks fully into your driver's suit and stays put, and the sides are contoured to sit over the shoulders cleanly instead of bunching up under suit collars or harness straps.
