• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Finding a proper seat mount for a right-hand-drive 1998-2005 Nissan Skyline can be difficult. Planted builds this bracket for the RHD chassis specifically, so you can fit an aftermarket seat without fabricating a mount.

This bracket is for right-hand-drive vehicles. Rather than working from a drawing, Planted develops each bracket on the car itself. The result bolts to the factory seat mounting points with no floor modification. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA and finished in black powder coat, and every unit is checked at three quality-control stages.

Pre-slotted hole patterns cover most major slider brands, including Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo and NRG. This Standard bolt-pattern version includes the Recaro pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". If you'd rather delete the sliders to lower the seat, there's room to drill for a direct mount or side mounts.

This is the passenger/left bracket, sold individually. Order the driver side separately for a matched pair. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
