Planted Seat Bracket - Lexus RC F (2015+) - Driver/Left
This Planted driver-side bracket gives the 2015+ Lexus RC F a rigid, vehicle-specific base for an aftermarket seat, with no floor modification. Construction is 3/16" laser-cut steel, hand-welded and powder-coated black, with Standard slider patterns. It's a solid foundation for autocross, track-day and street builds.

- Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
- Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
- Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

A 2015+ Lexus RC F is built to be driven hard, and the factory seat is usually the first thing that stops keeping up. Once the tires, brakes and suspension are sorted, you start sliding around in the stock seat mid-corner. A proper bucket fixes that, and it needs a solid base underneath it.
Planted develops every bracket with the vehicle in its shop, using the actual floor as the reference rather than a drawing. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA for full weld penetration and finished in black powder coat. Each one goes through three stages of quality control before it ships.
The mounting surface accepts sliders from Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech, Status Racing and more. It's the Standard bolt pattern, so the Recaro pattern is included, while wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole per slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders usually need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled. Spare material also allows direct mounting without sliders.
This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. Order the passenger side separately for a matched pair. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
