• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Whether you're adding a supportive seat for daily driving, an HPDE build or a comfort upgrade, the 2014-2017 BMW 5 Series F10/F11/F07 LCI needs a proper mount to carry it. The factory seat tracks won't accept an aftermarket seat, and universal plates rarely sit flat on the floor.

Each Planted application is built against the real floor of the car, so the bracket picks up the factory mounting points without cutting, shimming or welding. It's laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA and powder-coated black, and it passes three quality-control checks.

Pre-slotted hole patterns cover most major slider brands, including Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo and NRG. This Standard bolt-pattern version includes the Recaro pattern. Wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole on each slider elongated by 1/8". If you'd rather delete the sliders to lower the seat, there's room to drill for a direct mount or side mounts.

This is the driver/left bracket, sold individually. The passenger side is SB441PA. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
