There's no twisting, no wrestling with barbed fittings, and no spillage. When a more urgent separation is needed, the connectors are engineered to release automatically when a force greater than 10 lbs is applied — a passive safety feature that requires no thought or action from the driver or crew in a high-stress situation.
The kit ships with two car mount options to suit different installation environments: a roll bar mount for clean cage-mounted installations, and a flat surface mount that works on the transmission tunnel, seat, or any other suitable flat surface in the cockpit. A driver-side handle connects the shirt or balaclava quickly to whichever car mount is installed, completing the circuit between driver and cooling system in seconds.
Two 36" reinforced, non-kinking extension hoses are included alongside a full hardware assortment — two 1/4" barbed quick release fittings, two 1/4" to 5/16" barrel connectors, and two 1/4" to 1/4" barrel connectors — covering the connection requirements for most Chillout Systems cooling setups without additional purchases.
