• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

The 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3 has a loyal following among drivers who use their cars properly, and a real seat is part of almost every serious build. The factory seat tracks were never designed to carry a bucket, and fabricating a mount wastes time and rarely ends up square.

Every Sparco 600 Series base is built for a specific vehicle and bolts straight to the factory seat mounting points. It turns an uneven factory floor into a flat, solid platform for your seat, and the install is fully bolt-in.

The base is made from 3/16" steel for a strong, flex-free mount and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. Its Sparco-branded top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. A wide steel platform also leaves room to mount side mounts directly to the base when you want the lowest possible seat position (drilling required).

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB183L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
