This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Classic cars like the 1964-1973 Ford Mustang were built long before modern seat design, and the original seats offer little support by today's standards. Whether it's a restomod, a vintage racer or a weekend driver, an aftermarket seat transforms the driving position.

Sparco 600 Series seat bases pick up the factory seat mounts on the vehicle's floor and give your seat a flat, rigid mounting surface. Each base is vehicle-specific and a 100% bolt-in installation, so there's no cutting, welding or drilling into the floor.

The base is made from 3/16" steel for a strong, flex-free mount and finished in black wrinkle powder coat. Its Sparco-branded top plate is drilled for Sparco sliders. A wide steel platform also leaves room to mount side mounts directly to the base when you want the lowest possible seat position (drilling required).

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB213L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
