• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

Whether you're adding a supportive seat for daily driving, an HPDE build or a comfort upgrade, the 1995-2003 BMW 5 Series needs a proper mount to carry it. The factory seat tracks won't accept an aftermarket seat, and universal plates rarely sit flat on the floor.

Sparco 600 Series bases are vehicle-specific, bolt to the factory floor mounts and provide a flat, stable platform for an aftermarket seat. It's a 100% bolt-in installation, and it's easy to reverse if the car ever goes back to stock.

Construction is 3/16" steel with a black wrinkle powder coat, so the base won't flex under load. The top plate carries the Sparco logo and is drilled for Sparco sliders. For race cars that need the lowest seating position, the wide platform lets you drill for side mounts and bolt them straight to the base.

This is the passenger/right base, sold individually. The driver side is 600SB186L. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
