The Hyper TB-12 is Sabelt's leather-upper take on their top-of-range driving shoe — built for drivers who want the pedal feel and durability of a competition shoe without sacrificing the break-in comfort that leather offers over fabric. The upper is soft, thin calf leather chosen specifically for a close, responsive fit against the pedal box, while the front of the shoe is reinforced with an abrasion-resistant fabric panel in the high-wear zone where heel-toe work and pedal contact take their toll.
Inside, a breathable 3D honeycomb lining manages heat and moisture on long stints or hot circuits, so the shoe stays wearable well past the first stint. The outer sole is 100% natural rubber for consistent pedal grip and feedback, closed off with flat aramid fiber laces that won't fray or melt under heat. A fireproof TPU heel reinforcement adds structure and abrasion resistance right where entry and exit put the most stress on the shoe.
The Hyper TB-12 is homologated to FIA 8856-2018, Sabelt's current fire-resistant standard for racewear, so it's legal wherever the rulebook calls for certified fireproof footwear — from club-level track days up through wheel-to-wheel competition.
