• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.

An aftermarket seat can transform how a 2014-2017 BMW 5 Series F10/F11/F07 LCI feels from behind the wheel, whether for autocross, track days or simply better support on long drives. The key is a mount that fits the car's floor exactly and doesn't flex.

Planted develops every bracket with the vehicle in its shop, using the actual floor as the reference rather than a drawing. The bracket is laser-cut from 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA for full weld penetration and finished in black powder coat. Each one goes through three stages of quality control before it ships.

The mounting surface accepts sliders from Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech, Status Racing and more. It's the Standard bolt pattern, so the Recaro pattern is included, while wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole per slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders usually need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled. Spare material also allows direct mounting without sliders.

This is the passenger/right bracket, sold individually. The driver side is SB441DR. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
