The Recaro Sport C is a popular choice for street and track cars, but its sliders don't bolt straight to a Planted seat bracket. This Planted adapter is made specifically to join the two.

It's designed for Planted seat brackets with the Standard bolt pattern and adds only 3/16" of height. Each adapter includes the parts needed to install one Recaro Sport C seat. Spacers attach to the Sport C sliders, and the Planted bracket is then secured to the spacers with the supplied studs, nuts, washers, button head cap screws and machined nut inserts.

On some bracket applications, the set pin at the rear of each Sport C slider can contact the bracket's rear legs. In those cases the set pin will need to be filed down or removed. Professional installation is recommended.

Because the adapter adds so little height, the Sport C keeps the low seating position it was chosen for, and you keep the Sport C sliders' fore-aft adjustment for drivers of different heights.
