The Coolshirt® Rally System – 7.5qt is built for stage rally and other two-occupant racing applications where both the driver and co-driver need cooling from a single, compact unit. Its defining feature compared to Coolshirt's standard Racer System is the 8-foot Y-hose, which splits chilled water flow so it can feed two cooling garments simultaneously — a practical setup for rally crews running long stages where both occupants are working hard in a tight, hot cockpit.
At the core of the system is a 7.5qt cooling unit housing an internal pump, which circulates chilled water out through the Y-hose. The hose terminates in automatic shutoff quick-disconnects, letting either occupant unplug from the system quickly between stages or during driver/co-driver swaps without spilling water or leaving the line open. The system operates on 12V — running it on higher voltage will void the manufacturer's warranty, so it's important to wire it correctly to your car's electrical system.
It's worth noting what's included versus what's not: the Rally System ships with the cooling unit and the 8-foot Y-hose only. Cooling garments (one for each occupant), a temperature control switch, and a mounting tray with straps are all sold separately, letting you outfit both driver and co-driver with garments sized to fit and build out the rest of the system to match your car's layout.
