The Brey Krause R-9153 Driver-side seat mount offers a solution to the low roof-line of the C6 and C7 Chevrolet Corvette. The racing seat adapter places the seat rails at a slant, allowing the seat to be lower in a rearward position when combined with a Recaro Slider (sold separately). This slant allows the seat to sit higher when in a forward position (perfect for shorter drivers), while offering increased head clearance when adjusted rearward for taller drivers. Comes complete with an adjustable integrated Sub-Bar for correct mounting of your 5 or 6 point harness system. The design also allows for the reuse of stock 3-point belts, with inboard/outboard lap belt mounting locations built in. The R-9153 bolts directly to the floor of the C7 Corvette, and combines with a Recaro slider to allow the installation of many seat options when used with Brey Krause R-906x side-mounts (both slider and side-mounts sold separately).

These Seat Track Adapters are specifically designed to address the height issue seen in Corvette C7's. These adapters install the seats in the lowest possible position with sliders in order to allow a wider range of seats to fit in the C7's. This mount will still not allow for taller seats (example, Recaro SPGxl) to be used since the cockpit of C7's is not large enough. The incline in the Adapter allows for the seat to be positioned in the lowest spot possible when the seat is in its most rearward position. As the seat slides forward the height of the seat will increase. In order to place the seat in the lowest position on the sliders a cut in the carpet must be made.

Note: Although this kit allows for the installation of many brands and models of seats, due to the extremely low roof-line of the C7 Corvette, and the tight confines of the car, many larger seats cannot possibly fit.
